![]() Put 1 point here every subrank if possible. You preferably want to get to great towers as fast as possible, because honestly if you build anything else you'll have to knock those down when you get great towers and that just wastes time. After that, work on #7 priority, then come back to this. You need stone walls immediately when starting out. Keep putting 1 point into this until you MAX it. I get more honor from defending attacks than I do against everything else - you want a fully castle as fast as possible. Put 1 point here every subrank until you max it. It'll take 30 days with construction maxed. A fully built castle will take about 50 days to build with no research in construction. Don't make armed peasants, but they are handy mid game for 'storing' villagers, so unlock them anyway. This gives you the ability to make armed peasants and archers. #4 priority - put two points into command, one point into conscription, and one point into long bow. This will give you one and only one scout. The other keep levels you can wait a bit to do. This will give you the other castle researches you need below. Whenever you can spend a point here, spend it. Get banqueting researched and start producing as many types of honor goods as you can for that extra honor income.Īgain this is darrik's preference not my own. These are the two main troops in the game.ġ3. Get long bow and pike research as soon as you're able. Get weapon making researched as far as you need to to get bow and pike construction researched.ġ2. Get merchant guilds researched (Once you reach that level)ġ1. Faith will become essential at higher levels)ġ0. Get theology to 1 (Just so you have a constant faith point income as you level. These are a good source of honor income for those who are lower level and a good amount of resources are acquired for your village.ħ. Having more than one type of food being fully eaten gives you a bonus to popularity.ĥ. ![]() Get more farming research done so you can get different types of food. Get tools maxed out for those better building speeds as it gets pretty ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ bad as you level up.Ĥ. Get orchard management maxed out since you will be relying on apples for quite some time until you get higher level foods.ģ. Get stone quarrying and forestry maxed out as fast as you can.Ģ. Again, I've razed plenty of bullies for my vassals and just general people when I was sheriff/governor.This is my preferred start that has generally worked for myself and anyone else I got playing the game.ġ. ![]() And if it isn't wartime, why the fuck is he asking that? Contact your area superior and inform him. No offense dude, some good answers in this thread but this one is 100% wrong in wartime bullies. Millions of honour is worth sending a message. In a warzone I salted the earth with vassals that tried that and most people I played with were the same. Plenty of times I helped vassals get new villages of inactives I knew outside of the warzone but loyalty pays more than acting dumb. If you get razed for standing up to an invading bully or a straight up house bully 9/10 someone will help you. If they don't, tell them to fuck off and contact your liege Lord/steward/sheriff. The best way to answer this is to actually comply if they control the area. Yo, you have some good advice but this would straight up get the person razed if I was the one asking them to drop em. A lot probably won't say much but if they do, you can gain a lifeline. Just get to know the leaders around you, contact your steward/sheriff/governor and ask how you can help them do what they are doing. You may think you helping a person participate in a war is fun, until you wake up without a village one day. Participate where you can, but be warned. Each world's politics is different, so just join a house and be active within their chats to know what is going on around you. Part of surviving is attacking and knowing when to scheme, and when to fight. You can have the best castle in the world but without proper play style any timed attack (attacks set to hit within seconds of each other) will kill anyone.īeing good at this game is about playing politics and surviving. But a lot of what makes a good player is the war time attitude IMO. Check out the wiki and a few tutorial videos on youtube for more in depth for every day stuff. For war (attacking, monking, defending etc) you would have to put in a bit more and be involved more (like his comment about discord/teamspeak) but it is possible with medium activity. You can farm (attack AI and occasional players) with less than an hour or two a day for upkeep and become decent within a year for sure.
